“Songwriters Open Mic” is a live monthly event, on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:30. The location, pictured here, is Oz’s Music Store, at 1922 Packard Road in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since 1996, this is an acoustic open mic where musicians perform their songs and talk about them as well. Performances are videotaped and edited into half-hour tv programs seen on public-access stations in Ann Arbor, and in Grand Rapids; the Ann Arbor broadcast is also live-streamed on the internet, so you can watch the “broadcast” from any computer.
